Privacy Statement for National Capital Chapter of Trout Unlimited

The National Capital Chapter of Trout Unlimited (NCC-TU) has created this privacy statement to explain and document our firm commitment to your privacy concerns. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination policies and practices for this web site: www.ncc-tu.org.

This site contains links to other sites. NCC-TU is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites.

NCC-TU’s site uses several online order forms so visitors may directly request information and services, provide information, and communicate with the Chapter. Some of these forms may request and, if provided, collect the visitor’s contact information, such as name, address, phone numbers, and email address. Contact information obtained from the forms is used to sign up the visitor for requested services such as outings, respond to requests for information, and distribute additional information about NCC-TU and its activities. All contact information obtained through this web site will be used internally by NCC-TU members or its agents only, and will not be made available to anyone else for any other purpose. In all cases, visitors may opt-out of receiving future contacts from NCC-TU; see the choice/opt-out section below.

Periodically, we may run contests or drawings on this web site in which we ask visitors for contact information. We use that data to send visitors information about our organization and our activities. If the visitor is already a NCC-TU member, we use that information to update our membership database. Prize winners are notified via email, and announced in Riffles, the NCC-TU newsletter, and on the NCC-TU web site. There is no purchase necessary or fee to enter. Offer is void where prohibited by law.

Occasionally, NCC-TU conducts online surveys and asks visitors for contact information. We use data from our surveys to better serve our members and distribute information about our organization and its activities.
