October 14, 2006. NCC-TU held its first Annual Volunteer's Picnic on Sunday, October 8th, to thank and honor the folks who make our activities possible. We had food, drink, flies, rods, fine weather, good flows, and great company. The picnic location, the Savage Park pavilion, in Savage, MD, was a five minute walk from the Little Patuxent River. Several picnickers jointed their rods, and wet a line, after enjoying Bob McConnaughey's cooking. Thanks to everyone who showed up, and helped out! We'll do this again next year!     |
