Ed Jaworowski


Internationally recognized fly casting instructor, fly tier, photographer and author, Ed Jaworowski, headlines our show with seminars on fresh and saltwater fishing and with casting demonstrations and clinics. Ed is author of The Cast: Theories and Applications for More Effective Techniques (1992), Troubleshooting the Cast (1999), The Complete Book of Fly Fishing (1998) and, with Bob Popovics, Pop Fleyes: Bob Popovics's Approach to Saltwater Fly Design (2001); a new book, Essential Saltwater Flies is expected in 2008. He has published more than 200 articles in over 20 sporting periodicals during the past 30 years. He is a tackle design consultant to Temple Forks Outfitters. Lefty Kreh has described Ed as "A well rounded freshwater and saltwater fly fisherman who understands fly casting techniques and principles better than any man I have ever met."

He recently retired from the Villanova University faculty where he taught classical studies for 41 years.
