The raffles and the silent auction at the National Capital Angling Show are exciting day-long events that offer remarkable opportunities to acquire quality fishing gear, trips, lodging, wines, fine art, and much more at outstanding bargain prices. In addition to the Grand Prize Raffle, each of our exhibitors conducts a Bottle Raffle at their table, with prizes of particular interest to show-goers. The day-long Silent Auction is a major event with lots of exciting, high value items to bid on. Why not win some of the over 150 prizes and premiums that will be won at the Show? The proceeds of the Raffles and Silent Auction support fisheries conservation and education projects. ![]() HOW TO WIN GRAND SWEEPSTAKES RAFFLE – Be the lucky winner of one or more of the many quality Raffle prizes, such as the Potomac River Float Trip for 2 with Mark Kovach, plus a Redington NTI 9'6" 7 wt rod., and many other quality prizes. All Raffle proceeds fund fisheries conservation projects. $5.00 per ticket, 3 for $10.00, and 10 for $20.00. You do not need to be present to win, but you will be charged the cost of shipping any item to you. Drawing begins at 5:10 PM. EXHIBITOR BOTTLE RAFFLES – Each Exhibitor will conduct a Bottle Raffle with a valuable prize. Proceeds of the Bottle Raffles fund fisheries conservation activities. Suggested Bottle Raffle ticket donation: $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Donation not required to win. You deposit your tickets in the Exhibitors’ bottles according to your prize preferences. Drawings begin at 4:55 PM. IF YOU FILL OUT FULLY THE TICKETS you deposit in the raffle bottles, YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN. SILENT AUCTION – To get great items at bargain prices, including trips, lodging, rods, reels, lots of fishing gear, artwork, and much more, place your bids on the many high quality premiums displayed at the Silent Auction in the Exhibit Hall. Silent Auction closes at 4:50 PM. The winning bid for each item will be announced at 5:05 PM. Winners are encouraged to pick up their items at 5:05, but DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN. |
