Pre-Show, Friday, March 24, 2006 1:30-4:00 PM -- CASTING with KIKI GALVIN and DAVE ROTHROCK, recognized professional fly casting instructors. Dave Rothrock leads the Salmo-Trutta Fly Fishing School of Pennsylvania and Austria, www.salmo-trutta.com. Kiki Galvin heads Ms. Guided Flyfishing Instruction and Guiding Services. The 2.5-hour personal instruction casting clinic will be conducted outdoors, in Candy Cane City, in Rock Creek Park, 1/2 mile south of of East-West Highway, on Beach Drive . One-hour personal instruction Fly-Casting Clinics will be offered at the Show on the half-hour from 9:30 AM until 4:30 PM taught by nationally-recognized fly casting Instructors, including:
Fly Casting Clinics this year include: Casting for Beginners; Intermediate Fly Casting; Troubleshooting the Fly Cast; Ladies clinics; Youth Clinics; Parent and Child Clinics, and Presentation Casts for Trout. See the chart below for details. Space is limited in all Clinics, which will be held outdoors even in inclement weather. Sorry, no refunds. Personal Instruction Casting Clinic Fee: $35, youth 16 and under $25, per Clinic. Clinic participants unable to supply own rod, reel, and line, may rent a limited number of casting outfits, rental fee: $10, youth 16 and under free.
